This training course will provide you with all of the knowledge, skills and practical resources needed to enable you to provide outstanding provision and support for disadvantaged pupils.
The course will also help you to be fully prepared for the inspection of pupil premium under the current Ofsted framework, including an in-depth look at the inspection of content and structure, along with all of the Ofsted questions and model answers you will need.
This course will help you to:
- Understand how to excel during an inspection of your pupil premium provision and support
- Focus on the leadership aspects key to raising attainment for disadvantaged pupils by ensuring outstanding provision and support.
- Understand the role of ‘Pupil Premium Champion’ and how to make the role a key element of your PPG provision and support
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of pupil premium provision effectively in your school including impact of interventions, support staff
- Effectively manage and deploy support staff for maximum impact on progress and standards
- Understand how best to support class teachers to meet the needs of PPG pupils within their class and strategies to support teachers to understand that it is their responsibility to do so.
- Manage the strategic development of PPG provision and practice in your school
- Develop a framework for improving outcomes for PPG pupils
- Prepare governors to meet their responsibilities towards PPG pupils
- Engage parents more effectively in their child’s learning
- Be FULLY prepared for Ofsted inspection of pupil premium provision and support
