How to Achieve Outstanding Safeguarding – Compliance and Excellence
Safeguarding children and young people seemingly becomes more and more complex as the years pass by and a minefield when it comes to Ofsted inspection. Effective safeguarding relies on clear and easily understandable systems and procedures, consistently applied by all, and rigorously monitored by SLT. Your school’s culture is central to success because it forms the safe environment for children to develop and thrive and is essential to successful implementation of policy and procedures and excelling during inspection.
This training will bring you up to date with all the latest guidance to ensure you not only meet but go over and above the updated Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance published in September 2024 along with understanding the new filtering and monitoring requirements.
In this course colleagues will learn why school culture is so important and how to build the solid structures that will support staff and students, even when tough challenges come along. The course includes many practical downloadable resources and best practice from outstanding schools along with scenarios to help you understand what this looks like in practice.
