- Complete the Checklist of 10 tasks which MUST be completed prior to inspection.
- Share Toolkit with SLT, Subject Leaders, Teachers – regularly meet to ensure all tasks completed and consistency of approach.
- Review Current Achievement: Begin by reviewing the detailed attendance impact and outcomes for each year group/group of pupils. Familiarise yourself with the key attendance impact for specific groups of pupils in your school paying particular attention to SEND and PPG pupils and what attendance strategies you have used to improve challenging behaviour and low-level disruption.
- Customise the Resources: Tailor the templates, assessment tools, and other resources to fit the specific needs of your school and students.
- Implement the Strategies: Put the attendance strategies and tools into practice in your school. Use the attendance strategies to measure improvements and how your attendance strategies have led to the successes.
