High-quality teaching is by far the biggest factor affecting the achievement of children and young people in schools, and recent research has shown that instructional coaching is one of the most effective forms of CPD to improve this. This evidence-based programme will provide you with the skills and knowledge to implement instructional coaching as part of your school’s professional learning practices. Coaches will develop their understanding of what instructional coaching is, how to have effective coaching conversations, and cultivate their expertise and confidence to partner with teachers to help them improve teaching and learning standards.
