Our high Impact ‘Teaching and Learning Intervention Programme’ is a school-based professional learning programme for teachers who maybe need a reset or refresh of their teaching practices, or who are reflective and keen to push their teaching to the next level. The programme rapidly accelerates the quality of learning and teaching by ensuring immediate and sustained changes in classroom practice resulting in better outcomes for all children.

The programme combines the latest research, instructional coaching to achieve outstanding responsive and adaptive teaching, high impact practice, and reflection. The programme is delivered in practical and easily adapted activities over a 12 week programme. It is equally effective using face-to-face or online and hybrid models. The programme is proven to work in all phases and teaching environments, adapting to your specific context.

The programme builds on what is already working well, then helps individual teachers identify their next steps towards increasing their impact. It can be used to support teachers who have been placed on support plans, or teachers who have maybe fallen into a rut.

There are 3 modules:

Module 1 – Pedagogy – including challenge  (2 Full Days + 1/2 day  – (Professional learning session, lesson observation, individual coaching with every member of cohort)

Module 2 – Feedback  (2 Full Days + 1/2 day ) – (Professional learning session, lesson observation, individual coaching with every member of cohort)

Module 3 – Engaging Learners  (2 Full Days + 1/2 day ) – (Professional learning session, lesson observation, individual coaching with every member of cohort)

All of the learning can be completed in school, but some can also be completed online or a hybrid module to suit your circumstances.

 

To be viable a minimum of 5 teachers is required, however schools can join together if this is an issue. Training sessions can be completed after school and coaching sessions can also be completed online if preferred.

 

The costs involved recognise the amount of time this programme takes to deliver (but is half the cost of another national provider. The only difference is that this intervention is being derived by Helen Youngman (exceptional teacher and headteacher) and not a celebrity.
